In the ‘Adventure capital of the world’ Queenstown, New Zealand, for a friend’s wedding, the opportunity to try some local fare was too good to pass up. After asking around some locals we settled on Rātā by Josh Emett.

Week 11: Korean BBQ

When I think of Korea my mind is automatically taken to images of karaoke bars, the Team America version of Kim Jung 11, my mate Nick from work (who as an aside has the nickname Bruce Beiber – Bruce as in Bruce Lee, and Beiber, well because Nick looks like the Korean version of Justin Beiber), and finally the K-Pop sensation PSY.

Nestled in the heart of the city is one of Sydney’s newest, and apparently hippest, Chinese restaurants. The extreme lengths gone to in the name of ambience and ‘coolness’ are evident as soon as you get within sight of the place.
